Implementation Case 2

September 1999 - In its second phase, dgStaff implemented ARTC's union contract terms that govern the placement of existing and surplus employees in newly created positions. The terms include complex rules about seniority, competence rating, and movement between business units.

The conversion from the legacy system to dgStaff was done at the same time that ARTC was converting to SAP for its personnel and payroll processing. The conversion went off without a hitch, and with only two weeks of downtime, dgStaff started up exactly where the prior process had left off.
